Always Last Minute.com, that's me....

 Wooden Buttons!! yeah!!
A departure from my usula "brighter is better" campaign
A mix of Wooden Buttons in the shop.
As ever, i have bought these as i have a great project in my own mind for them
(2012 projects, don't ya know)
But i love them and so they are going into the BigFish shop straight away.
Ever obsessed, i have yet another colourway for the Button Wreath - Winter Wonderland
This is actually my Daughter's favourite so she tells me. Now, if you knew her, you'd be surprised by this!
Ordered more Xmas Ribbons at the Last Minute too as i sold all the reels to local peeps.
I am never, NEVER organised enough - no matter how hard i try.
I really really try...
aahhhh well.
I have been to a Zumba Class today and thrown myself around like a lunatic.
Tis the perfect remedy to creative uber-energy and helps me settle to some work.

Trim Trim Trimmings! *new-ness*

I missed Yesterdays Monday Shop Pimp Post as it was still the School Holidays and it was Hallowe'en AND we had spoooooky stuff to do!!
So, Tuesday shop pimp:
Gorgeous "Home Sweet Home" fabric trim with a cross-stitch style print.
Being sold with a complimentary Aqua grossgrain and red polka dot ribbon.
Then, vintage style Union Jack Trims which is so very on trend and grrreat for any Olympia 2012 projects.
In this awesome green and silver and the traditional colours.
I am liking very muchly :)
A a double Tartan treat too.
I bought these for making some Scottie Dog collars and my own Christmas wrapping.
There is so much you can do with pretty ribbons. They make me happy!
I love adding them to my patchwork cushions and lavender hearts.
You can use them for cupcake Toppers or cake decorating or on Taggie blankets or as hanging threads on decorations... oh it goes on and on and on and on....

Measure Up - Also New....

This fun pink and black fabric trim / ribbon is now in LovePaperFish.com
It repeats in 10inch sections and has a retro feel but in a yummy modern colour combination.
I also popped a bag of these little babies into the BigFish.etsy.com shop
They are Mini Spring Flings - a 25g bag as they are pretty small and they are retailing at a bargain £0.90 per bag. There are a limited number of bags available and a treat to any button collection.
They have a real Spring selection of yellow, blue, green and pink - all no bigger than 1cm. The big 1inch button is just for comparison.
And a little reminder that i would LOVE to show off the Crafter who makes the bestest / wildest use of these Metal Mickey buttons. I am sore that i have been just too busy to give some brooches a try with these. maybe when the Summer gets a little nearer and i can turn the studio outside for a few hours...
Tomorrow is another coooool book and a set of new buttons that i am just so excited about - i adore them. They are too super cute for some crafters but a few of you.... will love them as much as me :)

pOm pOm Trimmings are here....

I know, i know, too much to handle.... brain   cannot   compute
pOm pOm (i love that word) Trim.

£2.70 per metre in Aqua, Apple and Raspberry
or you can order a card of 15m / 18yds for £31.00 so you can have lots and lots of it for your bags and purses and cushions and fun-ness.
paperfishltd@googlemail.com - if you want to order.

each pOm is about 1cm so a great size for clothing and accessories. Not too 'in your face'
I could just look at those colourful photos all day. It would be enough for me i think.
Another awesome book in the shop, is THIS!
Crafty Supersta by Grace Dobush.
Although directed at the American market it is still full of great tips on setting yourself up to sell Crafts.
It is a beautiful book with nice fonts, lovely Matt paper, rounded corners, direct contents....
How to handle ETSY.... really, i know i have said it and said it but i wouldn't order a book unless i loved it. LovePaperFish has already sold a couple to some locals who want to give 'selling crafts' a go.
I have about 5 copies left in total and then they are gone.
Pass it onto a friend when you've finished or even sell it on if you want. That is the best way to re-use books in my humble opinion.

We might need a bigger webshop... and a bigger studio at this rate!
(looking for staff... those who don't mind a terribly wage, a crazy ole boss, and much tea and cake!?)

Ribbons, Stash, Supplies....

*shop news*  i am in love with these 2 grossgrain ribbons.
1/2 inch wide. Celery green and red with white spots. I might be using these to wrap my favourite gifts at Yuletide.
Then again.... i might go all monochrome in these Old Style Hollywood movie trims.
Black and white says: sophistication? style?
We now stock 6 different colourways in these wide ribbons - double sided so you get 2 choice of ribbons for the price of 1. Awesome bright colours. Also available to order by the 18metre reel if you want a massize load of ribbon for your projects.
I have this pink and green grossgrain - 1cm wide - ready to use, with some vintage lace, on a few Custom Order girly cushions. Fun projects :)
These 2cm fat bells have been flying off the craft stall as customers talk of tying them to their ribbons when wrapping gifts in December. I have been using them on some felt stocking orders.
I just love bells - and these have a beautiful 'jingle' - i hate disappointing bells with little sound.
I am still working out how to stack the new studio space (now the shelving and flooring is all in!)... not that it is a chore, to play with Craft Supplies and decide how they are best displayed and used.
*note to self* don't forget to prepare the Advent Santa, get the stocking gifts and purchase your gifts Kirsty. One minute it's the beginning of November and, in the blink of an eye, Christmas is here and i refuse to go anywhere near the High Street.
Wrapping and Ribbons and Stash and Supplies......

*new* trim and matroyshka....

A Pink polka dot Matroyshka NeedleBook in PaperFish. I wasn't planning on making this but some things just 'happen' in my hands whilst doing something else..... And these are Mini-Flowers - too cute and now for sale in BigFish.
1 inch daisies - i have bought these for my project but i have so many.... there are a few metres for grabs in bigfish also.
Oh, i adore this ribbon, called *Vivant* YUM! i don't want to sell any because i am selfish but a girl needs to make a living.

Craft chaos at The KirstyFish house xxx

Ribbon Shopping...

Do i need to add words??? Is there a reader that *neeeds* an explanation? .... There isn't room in my mouth for all the salivating that's gone on today.
I went RIBBON SHOPPING!!
Most people can say "I popped into Morrisons today" ... i can say "I went ribbon shopping"!!

And YES, photographed, uploaded, listed in the shops within 2.5hrs of walking through the door.
It isn't selling that I am actually addicted to.... it's 'sharing' and they look soooo good when they are captured on a digital image.

Checks and Polka Dots and Tartans and oranges and browns and greens.... i didn't buy enough ( i know that now)

Oh and PINKS mmmmmm i didn't realise i had so many different pinks! Yummy for the pink fans.
There are some in the BigFish.etsy.com shop and I have put a few mixes in SnowFish.etsy.com because i thought they would make great wrapping and tag making for Christmas and Thanksgiving x
So, "that's a wrap"!
