KkkeerrrrrPpppoWWwwww!

 Egad.... byJinks.... crikey love...
Laptop broke - Enforced Cyber break! but that is a story for another day.
Child has a birthday disco tomorrow. It has been chaos!
But listen, MrsB arrives in about an hour so all will be well.
The sun has been shining, neigh.... burning for days / weeks even, and life seems somewhat sleepy right now. Maybe that's the exhaustion talking?
 Felt flowers - yes sireeee.
Available in Strawberry & Lime at present - FuzzyFish.etsy.com
They will find their way into LovePaperFish, maybe, when the Little Ones get back to school and the sun gives in to the inevitable pregnant rain clouds.
I popped the first few FELTY FLOWERS into my new webshop:
http://www.mrsite.co.uk/usersitesv30/LovePaperFish.com/wwwroot/userimages/procart26.htm
More importantly, i have been having fun making them into brooches and into stems for a felty, floral bouquet. So quick and easy. Cheating really. Taking the skill out of crafting. But not the fun! As i am someone who does not feel the need to SLAVE hours over a handmade project - i can feel quite satisfied with a quick n easy too.
Cannot wait to get back to blogging - to putting lots of new things into the shops - to tell you all about the crafty plans i have in my pocket.
It is allll good people.
Happy Eggs! and Happy Sunshine!

Measure Up - Also New....

This fun pink and black fabric trim / ribbon is now in LovePaperFish.com
It repeats in 10inch sections and has a retro feel but in a yummy modern colour combination.
I also popped a bag of these little babies into the BigFish.etsy.com shop
They are Mini Spring Flings - a 25g bag as they are pretty small and they are retailing at a bargain £0.90 per bag. There are a limited number of bags available and a treat to any button collection.
They have a real Spring selection of yellow, blue, green and pink - all no bigger than 1cm. The big 1inch button is just for comparison.
And a little reminder that i would LOVE to show off the Crafter who makes the bestest / wildest use of these Metal Mickey buttons. I am sore that i have been just too busy to give some brooches a try with these. maybe when the Summer gets a little nearer and i can turn the studio outside for a few hours...
Tomorrow is another coooool book and a set of new buttons that i am just so excited about - i adore them. They are too super cute for some crafters but a few of you.... will love them as much as me :)

The Pegs Rock too....

Still showing you some of the amazing new supplies that i have coming in for Spring...
I cannot stop playing with a box of these pegs - 2inch long (5cm) and sooo colourful :)

A bargain at $8.50 in the BigFish etsy shop. They are limited, i have about 8 boxes...
Show me what you make with your box and i'll feature you on the blog x

Reels of Ribbon, Oh My!

I did warn you.... lots of yummy new things arriving.
I cannot help myself - i feel like i should be apologising? But i go through my little imagination and i wonder "if i didn't sell craft supplies, what is it i would like to be buying?"

Reels of Ribbon would certainly be on my list.
Each mini reel is just shy of 2metres per colour. Sold in a pack of 5... about 9 metres in total.
And *ugghhhh* i love the colours!

Grossgrain. 6mm wide. 6ft long. Non-washable. £7.00
5 reels of utter Spring cuteness - bring on the sunshine.... i am READY!

meet my mother...

...we begun to wonder whether Grandma's new carrot diet really was the best thing for her...? Bless.
It wasn't even Easter Day x

An Ordinary Day...

Some days are lovely, but quite like any other...It started to look good when BIGGERMummyFish and SisterFish popped over to share a pot of fresh coffee and freshly baked LemonChoc Biscotti (inspired by this lady)
The dog was outside enjoying the wamest Spring sunshine...

The beautiful child was outside enjoying the warmest Spring sunshine....

The beautiful child was outside enjoying the novelty of having Mummy's digital camera...
(we title the above frame "Dead Cow")

I might title this photo "Mad Cow" x

I love her photography skills!
And this pot of blooms was planted out for me as a birthday gift last week - it has just 'bloomed' and it brightens my garden no end.
Just an ordinary day, in the extra-ordinary life, of little ole me and my folks x

Thrift BLISS!

Colour me happy :)....
I had the most perfectly thrifty morning! Oh, Colour love...
Oh thrift love...
Oh Cotton love...
Oh crockery love...

3o plus reels of cotton for £2 from a local 'Table Top Sale' (i also thrifted some books and a lemon squeezer but they didn't seem so worthy of photographic attentions)

Then onto my local Recycling Centre and i bought a BIG cardboard box full of lovely mix and match tea cups (there is a party being planned - in the vein of 'Alice', not that i need an excuse to buy pretty tea items)

I just fell in love with this little sugar bowl and cream / milk jug...
"What do you need all these for?" asks the man...
"What has 'need' got to do with shopping for crockery?" replies that Crafty Fish...
He did at least concede, that the sewing threads were a bargain - a thrifty treasure! and also very pretty all jumbled up together.

P.S the cutest little 'Tie one on' apron "made in Wales" it says, only 10p! and SmallFish tried it on as soon as we got home.

I had to share all this with you immediately, firstly because i know you would appreciate these finds too... secondly because i have new posts to share soon (involving thrifted furniture and colourful gloss paint) x

back soon..... x

Spring Chickens

The ladies in my family are feeling the strain...
My Mum is 60 next month! My sister turns 31 this week and I am 34 in March.
We are all a bit tired..... in fact we are EXHAUSTED and we feel like we're 'no Spring chickens' anymore...
Being born in March means I am a Spring Baby! And it suits me 'oh so much'.
Today i walked the dog (and child) for miles.
I cleaned the car.
I cleaned the downstairs windows of my house.
LittleFish made some flowery cakes.
We planted some bulbs and pulled up some weeds.... It is Spring! and this is what Spring makes me feel like. I dislike the addition of an extra year to my age but i love the sense of warmth, colour, scent, beginnings, that all skip alongside the start of Spring x

New badges above. I made up a few packs last night as i have a few Spring Craft Fairs coming up soon.
Flowery Brooch below (as blogged a few weeks ago ) dressing like Spring! ( i draw the line at wearing yellow)

And the prettiest LittlestFish running around in her vest and leggings... i try to resist the urge to kiss her chubby little arms every 2 seconds.
She made these darling cakes (yum yum).... i hope my sister isn't reading this because we have saved one for her birthday on Friday x x x
Happy Spring my friends! Keep colourful, keep in touch x
