Rainbow...

My little girl said to me today "you look like a rainbow Mummy" - could she have known that is one of the nicest compliments i have ever been given??
It was SO cold and foggy out today, colour was a must... Out with 'The Girls' today: My mum, myself and my little ToddleFish (achingly cute today)
VIA the Post Office, though not my usual PO .... and UGH!! - the postmistress was SO VERY RUDE to me, i came out and wanted to cry. I hate that someone can do that to me!? I want to complain, how dare she?
P.S Above bag with Post Office parcels handmade by ABI x

'The Rainbow Look' ToddleFish referred to was a bit colourful i guess but i felt i had been quite reserved, given that today NEEDED colour adding to it in every way....

The first felt heart brooch i ever made! and i still wear it to death....

FatFace boots (oh YUMx) and i confess to owning tights in.....ummmm, many colours (ahem)

My PRETTIEST hair clip from SARA EDEN (click me and buy one - i love the internet)

And after a shaky start to the day - i walked into the CATH KIDSTON DISCOUNT STORE.... shall i repeat that for the hard of hearing and the insanely envious???? Yes i live near a Cath Kidston Discount store - don't hate me for it!
It has been newly expanded, and... next time i go in, I am taking photos!! You'll die it is so gorgeous. I wanted to throw out every person inside and move in to it immediately.
Obviously the above fabrics are not the only things i purchased (Kirsty rubs hands greedily in a Fagin sort of way)
And then i realised that Cath Kidston also understands colour - VERY well x and she would agree with the need, on most days, to dress 'like a rainbow' XXXXXX

I'm with "Meplusmolly"......

Think ahead to when you are running your worldwide Felt/Craft business. You'll have your own fleet of delivery vans and be able to sit back and think "I wonder whatever happened to that rude Post Office person?"..... Ha!

Hope they're my parcels! Pleeeease! Can't wait. We used to have SUCH a rude couple running our post office. Locals would actually go to the next village rather than go in there. He used to do passport photos too and I swear my 8yr old looks like he's crying in his passport because the horrid man was so strict with him. Boo to post office meanies.

I never stray from my village post office, him and his wife have a system that works so well for eBayers and Etsyers, like a proper production line and he never gets annoyed or angry, he's a real prince. I know just the right time to go when there's no queue and the parking is great.

I hate rude people, and its horrid that she made you feel yuk. Never mind as everyone probably hates her!

Ugh I feel you on the PO rudeness - I'm very lucky to have nice staff in my local one but whenever I venture elsewhere everyone seems to be so bloomin' rude! I want to shout I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE YOU KNOW, I AM NOT AN IDIOT but I am far too polite for that sort of thing :P

PS *all* my best outfits involve me looking like a rainbow, the more colours the better as far as I'm concerned! :D

Love the pom pom bag. Anything with pom poms is fabulous!

You live near a cath discount store?! Jealousy does not even begin to cover it!

I sympathise with PO workers, the one I used to use was RUBBISH. And they have a tendency to lose people's post in this area....

ps. loved toddle-fish's pudding hat from a way back too!

I feel your post office pain, I put up with the rudest counter staff when we lived in Bath, I used to want to put in an official complain every time I went in there!
But since I have moved to Bristol, the local post office has been great, run by 2 male twins in their 20s who couldn't be more helpful, they even give me used envelopes to recycle, they are so sweet :)

All the best with the felt store. Oh and I have that packing tape. It was one of those I must have that even though I have aquired lots of clear packing tape.
