I had the most perfectly thrifty morning! Oh, Colour love...
Oh thrift love...
Oh Cotton love...
Oh crockery love...
3o plus reels of cotton for £2 from a local 'Table Top Sale' (i also thrifted some books and a lemon squeezer but they didn't seem so worthy of photographic attentions)
Then onto my local Recycling Centre and i bought a BIG cardboard box full of lovely mix and match tea cups (there is a party being planned - in the vein of 'Alice', not that i need an excuse to buy pretty tea items)
"What do you need all these for?" asks the man...
"What has 'need' got to do with shopping for crockery?" replies that Crafty Fish...

You got a real good stash of stuff there!! ;-)
love the sugar bowl and milk jug :D
A very fine morning!
I love the excitement of thrifty finds. The pinny is a gem. When I spot things like that in a charity shop I go a bit bonkers and everything goes a bit slow-mo as I try and calmly get to whatever it is peeking at me whilst imagining that the whole shop, street, town has also spotted it at the same moment and is descending on ot too! Of course it's usually just me and no-one has even noticed! It's very exciting though!
Where was this sale?! I've never found one quite so amazing round me!
Very excited to see what will become of the crockery and the alice party...

thrift love is a special kind of love; uncovering treasures, wonder at why no one else wants this or that and sheer delight that it now belongs to me!

Thanks Kirsty, I'll head to Towcester! Can't wait for more blogging about Alice and if I spot anything that I think would be helpful to you, I'll let you know.
